First tour guide will introduce him/her self and then gives you the
ok to ask any questions you might have while giving you an exclusive
tour.
While on your way to the saving the best for the last part of the
tour which is the turtle farm or (boatswains beach) and hell you
will be making short periodic stops that includes the house of the
governor, the most magnificent seven mile beach, the rum cake factory
to taste arguable the best tasting and the world most famous rum
cake and some traditional, cultural Caymanian style homes for your
photo opportunities. (Please remember to save film for a picture
with your favorite turtle and the devil when you get to hell.)
After all that fun your tour guide will pull up to the turtle farm
or boatswain beach as it is now modernly called since it’s been newly
renovated to suite your accommodation. (No problem your entry fee
is already included in the price we charge) your tour guide will take
you inside the world largest turtle farm where you will see and get
information about the different type of turtles in detail for the
next thirty minutes. After all that time spent outside you might
want to grab a bottle water to avoid been dehydrated and then you
would be on your way to hell that is only 5-6 minutes ride.
At hell there is no admission fee, open to the public. Your tour guide
will take you onto the premises where you will be greeted by a man
dressed as the devil for photos, souvenirs shop and then around the
back to see the inferno shaped rocks for the real reason why the
place is called hell where your tour guide will inform you and answer
your questions for the next 15 minutes. To polish it all off send
a post card from the hell post office.
The Cayman Island is well known for its banking industry, but if
the Island name should ever be changed, Stingray Island would be
the top name on the list recommended. Approximately 4 miles offshore
on the north side of Grand Cayman in a 8-10 foot deep 8 mile wide
bay call north sound is where stingray city is located. A sandbar
was formed because of the natural rotation of the currents. According
to old time fishermen all types of rays from the ray family came
to the sand bar to feed by using there 25 horsepower vacuum suction
types mouth to eat crabs and crustation from out of the sand, while
the fishermen got off there boat because it was the most convenient
place to clean their catch. The southern stingray’s that now
visits stingray city everyday appreciate the food fishermen brought
and in return has form a bond by in 2-5 foot deep water, allowing
human’s to pet, kiss and take pictures while they rub against
you graciously and sometimes swim between your legs, the world original
stingray city. (Please listen out for special instructions before
getting off your boat at stingray city or any other stop.)
The Cayman Island is also well known for its amazing reefs, beautiful
coral formation and ton of multi colored fish, some people even sometimes
see Dori and Nemo.
The captain before leaving the dock will brief you on where to find
the restroom, life jackets, fruit punch water and ice on board for
your 30 minutes ride out to stingray city. (Your captain might snorkel
at the reef before stingray city to avoid crowds.)
Once you get to stingray city whether you want to go in the water
and allow stingray to caress you or you want to stay on board the
boat reach down and pet a stingray your fun time will be thirty (30)
minutes. At the reef your second stop is just five minutes away you
will snorkel for 25 minutes and then a nice 25-30 minutes relaxing
cruise back to the dock. (Snorkeling lessons will be offered at your
first stop and your snorkeling equipment handed to you that is provided
for no extra charged.)
