Grand Cayman’s Reef is a fisherman’s paradise
Choose from our wonderful fleet of boats that runs from 31 to 60
foot and be pampered in privacy while you fish.
The Cayman Islands are three large underwater mountains that are
described as plateau just emerged or mountain tops made out of lime
stone and coral. Approximately three quarters of Grand Cayman is
surrounded by shallow reefs that range from half mile to four miles
off shore. Some of these reefs on low tide sticks out of the water
in some areas while other parts drops down from 10 to 25 feet that
creates a bed room accommodation for a variety of fish. The Snapper;
the Grunts; the Jacks; and the Grouper are commonly caught around
these reefs and create plenty of actions. These fishes runs on average
1 to 20 pounds (lbs) in weight and we even sometimes catch barracudas
around the reef.
You are of course entitled to a portion of the fish which your
captain will cut and clean to your liking.
Fishing bait, gear, captain and mate, fruit punch, water and ice
are included in the price we charge. Other beverages could be provided
if requested for the standard cost.
This tour operates every day apart from Christmas.
